The first fingerpicking solo uses chords, techniques and licks that have been studied so far throughout this book. This solo mainly employs the alternating thumb style but an arpeggio style is also used near the end of the piece.
This piece also contains first and second endings. Play to the first ending, ( Z), then go back to the beginning. The second time you play through the song, play the second ending (Z) instead 2. of the first.
At the end of the second section, the instruction D.S. al Coda is written. This means that you play the song again from the sign (V) until you reach the instruction To Coda and then jump to the coda sign (v)at the end of the piece.
