It is important for you to be able to play with other musicians and the best practice for this is the study of duets (See page 7 to play along with CD).

Duet part notated as T (Teacher). Remember to alternate.

Jingle Bells introduces the whole note (or semibreve) ` in bars 4,12 and 16 which is worth four counts. Four quarter notes or two half notes equal one whole note.
i.e. 3 + 3 + 3 + 3=` , 1 + 1 = `
It is played on the first beat and held for the remaining three as indicated by the count.
